Empathy

A few years ago our school needed some empathy training. We have weekly chapels that target all of our secondary students grades 6-12 and decided to use that time to discuss empathy. We used Survey Monkey to kick it off posting the live results. Most of the questions were experience related like: "Have you ever.....?" During our talk we also shared a video we made.

In trying to find resources for our discussion we found a great video on Youtube dealing with empathy titled "Empathy: The Human Connection to Patient Care". Instead of using the video, we decided to "remake" it, using situations our students can relate to. The first video is the original, the second video is our remake. The great thing about this, was that the kids really connected to it. I was really surprised it went over that well.

What situations do you think you could come up with to remake this video?
